LAUREN Silverman has one of the most famous boyfriends in the UK in X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

However, not much is known about New York socialite Lauren Silverman, 40, herself.

But there is certainly a lot to find out about X Factor judge Simon Cowell's wife, who is the mother to his son Eric, 4.

Lauren shot to fame when her relationship with Cowell hit the headlines in 2013.

It was reported that Lauren was still with ex-husband Andrew Silverman at the time.

Lauren and Simon were actually introduced by real estate mogul Andrew and they often holidayed together.

Before Lauren, Simon was known as a serial dater, however himself and Lauren have been stable since Eric's birth.

The music mogul said: "Eric is absolutely incredible and so funny. It [being a father] is the best thing that ever happened to me."

Lauren, who lives in New York with Simon, is also mum to older son Adam, from her marriage to Andrew.

Despite having children together, Lauren and Simon remain unmarried.
