Sharon Otieno was raped and stabbed several times: detectives

Homicide detectives have revealed that Sharon Otieno was raped and stabbed several times on the stomach, back and neck.
It is feared that the knife punctured a hole into her womb: she was seven months pregnant at the time of her death.
Speaking to Citizen TV on Friday, the detectives sent from Nairobi to probe the case expressed shock over what they found at the crime scene.
“I have never seen anything like this in my life. It is very disturbing,” one of them who spoke on condition of anonymity told Citizen TV adding that several condoms were found where the body was discovered.
The officers also noted that they are in pursuit of four suspects linked to the abduction of Nation journalist Barack Oduor on Monday evening.
DNA samples have been collected from the suspect Michael Oyamo, PA to Migori Governor Okoth Obado, who has been adversely mentioned in the case.
Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor is currently conducting an autopsy at the Rachuonyo Level 4 Hospital in Homa Bay.
Governor Obado has a private pathologist and lawyer Cliff Ombeta representing him.
The body of Sharon Otieno was discovered near Kopedo Forest in Homa Bay County two days after she went missing.
She was last seen at a hotel in Migori County where she had arranged to meet with the Nation journalist.
According to the journalist, they were abducted on Monday evening but he managed to escape by jumping off the moving vehicle.
